Knitting and Prayer Shawls
I'm also into knitting. The last year or two a friend of mine got me into prayer shawls. So I've been into the knitting prayer shawls. Basically the idea is that you say prayers while you are making/knitting or crocheting the shawls and then you intentionally give them away to people who are sick or have some kind of health problem or in need in some way. You can either do it indivdually like I do or do it with a church group. For more info on prayers shawls check out http://www.shawlministry.com/

Sour Cream Gingerbread
I love baking and just wanted to share with you one of my favorite recipes for Gingerbread, so here it is, enjoy !
Sour Cream Gingerbread
Butter a shallow pan 8 or 9 inches square. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat : 2 eggs
Add: 1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup molasses
1/2 cup brown sugar
Beat well. Sift together
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon salt
Stir into first mixture. Add
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine.
Beat well and pour into the pan.
Bake about 30 minutes
